With 14 bedrooms, 3 aparthotel suites and superb food and drink, The Wellington is a beautiful place to stay or visit.
Tucked into the hillside at the bottom of the valley and looking out towards Boscastle harbour, we are a family friendly haven on the North Cornwall coastline. Our traditional Inn is independently owned and full of history. As one of the oldest coaching inns in Cornwall dating back to the 16th century, past guests include Thomas Hardy, Guy Gibson of Dambusters fame and members of the Royal Family.
Whether you are staying with us for a short break, on a proper Cornish holiday or on business in Cornwall, we are sure that you will love the cosy yet modern feel. We are passionate about providing all our guests with superb friendly service and everyone is welcome, including walkers with muddy boots, children, dogs and holidaymakers…. just as you would expect from such a beautiful coastal North Cornwall Inn.

This was a lovely visit. The food was excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. Great ambience too. An olde worldlie charm with plenty of character. A good range of beers. Well worth a visit.

A warm welcome, clean room with big towels! All made the even better by excellent evening meal and cooked to order breakfast. It is a traditional hotel so not the hermetically sealed rooms you get in a chain but that was not what we wanted. Close to the harbour and Coast path if you’re into walking. We thoroughly enjoyed our night there.

We managed a last minute booking because our plan to celebrate my birthday was cancelled! The staff here are all lovely and welcoming...the hotel is gorgeous...our meal was just perfect...thanks so much.
